When do I get charged?
Your first month is completely free. After 30 days, your subscription starts at $12.99/month. Cancel anytime before that and you'll never be charged.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Start your free month with just your email. We'll ask for payment details when your trial ends.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account settings or the App Store. No cancellation fees, no questions asked.
Is there an annual plan?
Not yet. We want you to see the value month by month first. Annual pricing is coming once we've proven it to you.

We wanted a price that feels fair and makes the decision obvious. At $12.99, the subscription costs less than a single takeout meal, and if the app changes how you shop, it pays for itself quickly.
What's NutriScore? What does "rescued" mean?
NutriScore is a letter grade (A through E) developed by French public health researchers that rates the nutritional quality of food. A = best, E = worst. It weighs fiber, protein, and fruit/veg content against sugar, saturated fat, and sodium. "Rescued" means Hestia found a way to use something you already have, a pantry item near expiry or leftovers from last night, instead of buying new. Every rescued item means less waste and less money spent.
How accurate are the prices?
Prices come from the shelf, not a guess. When an exact price for your store isn't available, we show a careful estimate marked with ~ and sharpen it as your household shops. Over time, your local prices get more accurate every week.
What if I don't save much?
Savings depend on your starting habits. If you already meal plan carefully, your savings will be smaller. If you frequently buy items you don't use or order takeout when you have food at home, your savings will be larger. The app shows your actual numbers each week so you always know where you stand. And your first month is free, you risk nothing.
